After Gordon Brown had been to see the Queen to resign as Prime Minister of the UK he went to the Labour Party offices to thank workers. I took this photo from the TV. My daughter Ellie is hidden right at the back just behind Sarah Brown and a couple of other young women. I am sure I can see a tear in her eye.

After fighting so hard, it indeed is very emotional when things don't turn out as hoped for - especially in politics it seems. Hugs to your daughter.
